When DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland brought volunteers together for a project in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Trade Source IRE helped connect four skilled tradespeople with the production. They volunteered their time and expertise as part of the wider build effort. We want to give each of them the recognition they deserve.

Trade Source IRE’s part was sourcing and introducing tradespeople. The participating businesses managed their own work directly with the production and build team; Trade Source IRE did not subcontract or manage the construction.

Why this Bray build matters

DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland is made possible by families, volunteers, tradespeople, suppliers and the programme’s build team working together. In Bray, the aim was to adapt a family home to help Hannah Leonard return home. Our four contributors were part of a much larger group that gave their skills and time to help make the project happen.

We are grateful to Robert, Yuriy, S.C Carpentry and Edal Construction, and to every person and business involved in the project. See RTÉ’s coverage of the Bray family for more on the story behind the build.
